View of the Twin Gables from Skamokawa Creek. As late as the 1930s, all homes in the area were accessed by water. There was no highway.
In the black and white photo, the twin roofs of Twin Gables can be seen rendered as medium gray on the houses to the right. As you can see, they fronted directly on the creek. There was even less 'front yard' than there is today.
On the Lower Columbia Water Trail, guests can boat, canoe or kayak right up to the 27 foot dock. Enjoy your shore leave with queen beds, endless hot water and home cooked meals featuring fresh, local ingredients.

Absolutely stunning. I'd love to see some additional photos and a menu. Can't wait to visit.
Hey, you got the pictures working! Even though I live here, I am going to have to go stay at all the wonderful B&Bs that are open around here.
The history of this little B&B is truly amazing, Steve & Kathleen are rare individuals to go through what they have to make Twin Gables what it is today. Follow that dream!
It won't be long now and you'll be up and running...keep baking those pies!
